Another Fun Chicago Casting!

Today we got an exciting call for a fun event. We are in the process of casting Chicago models for a segment on a popular network. The models will be modeling a new line of swimsuits during a morning show. Spring has finally arrived and swimsuit weather will be here soon, perfect timing for an event like this. The selected models will be on the show bright and early looking their best. I can't wait to see which models the client picks.

Addison Corporate Event - Success!

Pink Avenue Models teamed up with a new client for an exciting event last Thursday. The event took place at the Dave & Busters in Addison and 6 of our models were hired. The models were hired to provide samples and educate consumers on the brand. Good work girls, thank you all for working! Here is a picture from the event.

Airline Street Team Promotion - April 4-10!

Our team of promotional models will be taking over the streets of Chicago early April. The models were hired to promote a very popular airline. The models will be seen all aver, were going to Wrigley, United Center, Millennium Park, Michigan Ave, Financial District, Union Station, Ogilvy and everywhere in between. I'm really excited for this event. We have a great team and I can't wait to get started. If you see a team of models dressed as flight attendants that's us!

Street Teams!

Pink Avenue Models has a lot of street team promotions coming up so we thought we should blog about what a street team is. Street teams are a way to interact with a large portion of our client's target demographic. While working these events the promotional models will most likely be handing out fliers which isn't always easy and can be discouraging. It's hard to get people to stop on the street and talk to you, especially in major cities. Most people will avoid making eye contact and look everywhere else, some will move out of the way and some will say no thanks. The best way to get someones attention is to smile and say good morning, hello or another friendly greeting and usually they will take it. The point of a street team is to create buzz about a product and make everyone curious about what you are doing. Street teams are usually long hours, require a lot of walking and a ton of personality. Make it your goal to interact with everyone and keep it fun. Spring and Summer are full of street teams and we have a couple big ones coming up. Get your gym shoes ready, it's about to get busy!

C2E2 - Success!

WonderCon 2011 - San Francisco!

Pink Avenue Models just started casting models for WonderCon. We are working with one of our favorite clients for another exciting trade show. WonderCon will be taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on April 1-3. This is the 25th year for this show and it has become one of the best comics and popular arts conventions. Last year there were over 39,000 people at the event and they are expecting even more in 2011. WonderCon has a huge list of special guests, tons of games, anime, autograph sessions and so much more. This is a must for anyone interested in comics and popular art. Wear your costumes and have a blast!

Axe Corporate Event Orlando - Success!

Last week we had 3 Axe Angels working a corporate event in Orlando. The models were hired to attract attendees and demo the Axe product line. We had 2 stylists giving hair makeovers. Here are a few pictures from the event.

America's Beauty Show - 4 Days Away!

The ABS is one of my all time favorite trade shows to work and it's just 4 days away. This show has been going on for over 80 years! This year the show will take place at McCormick Place on March 12-14. Just imagine every type of make up, any hairstyling product you would need, nail polish, curling irons, flat irons, hair stylists, and tons of free samples....every girls dream! We are so excited to have models working this event. The runway shows are amazing and the energy of the show is so fun. Have fun at the show girls!

C2E2 2011!!!

Pink Avenue Models is teaming up with one of our clients for C2E2 again this year. C2E2 is coming back to Chicago and will be taking over McCormick Place March 18-20. Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo starts in just 10 days! C2E2 is a convention about comics, movies, television, toys, anime, and video games. There will be hundreds of exhibitors, tons of autograph sessions, screening rooms, and so much more. This is a fun show for everyone involved and we love staffing models for this event. Make sure to buy your tickets in advance for a cheaper rate, weekend passes are also available.
