Amazing Event @ 10 Pin Chicago!

Last week we received a call for a last minute event, we were excited to be part of this huge event! Pink Avenue Models sent 2 of our models to 10 Pin to serve gelato at a very important event for the Wade's World Foundation. The girls teamed up with Louise Gelato and handed out samples to the lucky people at this event. Thank you to Lucia and Ashantee for working and being available last minute. It was a great event and we were happy to be part of it. Can't wait for the next one!

Taste Of Greece - Chicago!

The Taste of Greece will be taking place in the neighborhood of Greektown on August 27th and 28th. The fest is open from noon until 11pm each day and is a great place to dance, eat great food, buy from the street vendors, and have fun. Chicago Summers are full of great festivals and this is another one. Bring the whole family, there will be activities for everyone. Pink Avenue Models is excited to have a client at this event and be able to staff models for it. Have fun at the Taste of Greece!

Forex Network Chicago 2011!

Yay, one of my favorite events of the year is coming up soon! Forex Network Chicago will be taking place in downtown Chicago September 21 & 22. It's back and better than ever, 2 days of great sponsors, speakers and discussions. This is our 3rd year of booking this event and we are so excited to be able to staff models once again. Forex Network Chicago is sponsored by Profit & Loss Magazine and is known as one of the premier networking events of the year in the FX market. Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2011!

The Channel Partners Conference & Expo is coming to Chicago in just a couple of days. This is the communications industry's only event for indirect sales organizations. This expo will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place August 24-26. There will be great exhibitors, and amazing speakers. Definitely a great conference for people in the communications industry. We are excited to have multiple clients exhibiting at this trade show and happy our models will be part of it. Natural Products Expo East 2011 - Baltimore!

I'm so excited to be casting models in Baltimore! Pink Avenue Models staffs events nationwide and we do a lot of work in the big cities so it's nice to venture out a little bit. The Natural Products Expo East is coming to Baltimore September 21-24 and will be taking place at the Baltimore Convention Center. This trade show is the east coast's largest natural, organic, and healthy products expo. This show has taken place in Boston the past 3 years so Baltimore is excited to have it back. There will be over 1300 exhibits! Get ready to see anything organic, health and beauty related, natural and specialty foods, pet supplies, and supplements. As always, this trade show will have great sessions and amazing speakers. We are happy to be part of this show and excited to provide trade show models for it.

International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market - Merchandise Mart

The International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market will be taking place at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago September 12-15. This trade show offers retailers the chance to see all things related to outdoor and casual living. This is the show to see the newest products from some of the best manufacturers around the world. The International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market has been around for over 30 years and is the ultimate destination for casual furniture, outdoor living trends and accessories. It's the only show in North America of its kind that is endorsed by ICFA. There will be more than 250 manufacturers at this show taking up more than 350,000 square feet of show space. This is a huge show and we are excited to be part of it! We just began our casting process today, I wonder what promotional models will be selected to work this event. Good luck girls!

Why Do You Need Promotional Models Or Brand Ambassadors??

Everyone has a different idea of what promotional models and brand ambassadors are. My definition of a promotional model is an attractive male or female that is hired to represent a brand at some type of event. The promotional model is required to know basic brand knowledge, attract consumers, tell them about the brand, usually hand them a sample and hope that they love the product so much that they buy it. Promotional models are expected to be attractive, reliable, extremely friendly with the ability to talk to everyone, professional, hard working and always smiling. They are never allowed to talk bad about the product they are promoting or any of their competitors. While a promotional model is representing a brand they become a spokes model for the brand and become the face of the company. They have to represent the brand to the fullest. Promotional models are a huge asset to any event, they add a smiley and friendly person that everyone should enjoy talking to. You will see promotional models at trade shows, special events, product launches, grand openings, and any other type of event looking for attractive, knowledgeable people.

A brand ambassador has the same type of role, just different venues. Brand ambassadors are usually part of street teams, flash mobs or any type of event requiring a large group to make a huge impact. Brand ambassadors usually get to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and are usually provided a branded t shirt. BA's usually hand out fliers, or samples and always provide as much knowledge as they can. Again, their goal is to get people interested in a brand and hope that the consumers go out and buy the product. Brand ambassadors and promotional models have the same goal in mind, to increase sales. The only thing that differs is the type of event and location.

Brand ambassadors and promotional models are hired to increase sales, promote something new, generate buzz and grab attention. This industry is amazing and new events and ideas come up daily. IT Expo West 2011 - Austin!

Pink Avenue Models is teaming up with one of our clients for the IT Expo in Austin. This expo will take place at the Austin Convention Center September 14th and 15th. The World's Communications Conference and Expo begins in 28 days and we are so excited to be casting models for this event. This expo is meant to teach resellers, enterprises, SMBs and government agencies how to select new products or resell. It's a place for everyone in this industry to meet and make deals. This is a great expo for people to network, learn, listen to keynote speakers and discuss business. We are so excited to be staffing promotional models in Austin again!

National Bridal Market - Chicago!

Pink Avenue Models is teaming up with one of our favorite clients for the upcoming National Bridal Market in September. This trade show will take place at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago September 24-27. This is the biggest show for this market and a great place to see all the new designs from top designers. We are excited to be part of this event and just started casting models yesterday. I can't wait to see who is selected!

SEMA 2011 - Las Vegas

SEMA is coming to Las Vegas soon and it is a huge show! SEMA is the premier automotive show in the world, this year they are expecting over 100,000 show attendees and over 2,000 exhibitors over the 4 day show. SEMA will take over the Las Vegas Convention Center November 1-4 this year and we can't wait. This show is so big that models fly in from all over the country to work. Why should you attend SEMA this year? Over 500 new exhibitors, 1,500+ new products, more than 500 educational seminars, and so much more. This is a private show and one of the biggest trade shows in this industry. We are so excited to staff models for this event!

Last Minute Lollapalooza Event = Awesome!

We received a last minute call over the weekend for promotional models to assist a new client. These models were hired to work with the team from Guess, they were too busy and needed assistance from the beautiful girls at Pink Avenue Models. The girls assisted with gift bags and entertained attendees. Tambra and Stephanie looked amazing and did a great job, thanks girls!

Chicago Corporate Event - Success!

Last week Pink Avenue Models teamed up with a new client for an amazing event. We hired a team of models to represent a popular liquor brand at a corporate event at a new hot spot in downtown Chicago. This wasn't just your normal event, there was a special guest performance from Ne-Yo! The girls had an unforgettable time and we are so happy that we were part of this as well.
