We Are Ready For Fall, Are You?

We have been mentioning it for weeks, Summer is busy season but Fall is usually even busier. We want to make sure that all of our promotional models are ready so we made a short list of things that should be done asap!

1. Send us your updated pictures! We want clients to see what you look like now, not last year or years ago.
2. Update your resume. We know that you have worked a ton of events this Summer and modeling agencies like to see that and so do our clients.
3. Make sure you have the standard pieces of clothing that you will need for all types of trade shows and events. Black dress, black dress pants, cute flats, comfortable black heels and of course khaki pants.
4. Just remember to send us your paperwork as soon as you can. It's a commitment between you and us and we need it. Smile and have fun, you love your job!

Busy Season Is Coming! Tips To Be Stress Free

We mentioned it the other day and the team at Pink Avenue Models couldn't be more excited, Fall is coming! Fall is personally my favorite season for many reasons, the fashion is better, our hair and make up last longer, and it's busy. For some reason Fall is one of the busiest seasons in this industry, there are a ton of trade shows! I know it's only mid Summer but the temperatures in Chicago are making us think that it's Fall. I love Fall so I am perfectly ok with the current weather. Fall is a season that is perfect for sweaters, boots, and amazing hair and make up! Not to mention it is the busiest season and full of trade shows, I had to include that for all of our promotional models out there. SEMA 2013! Las Vegas!

I have been working in the promotional modeling industry for years and have always heard about SEMA. I've always been based out of Chicago so haven't really had the chance to work Las Vegas trade shows, but have been told that this one is AMAZING! SEMA is the premier automotive specialty products show in the world. There will be seminars, demonstrations, special events, tons of networking opportunities and so much more. SEMA will be taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center November 5 - 8. Last year there were over 60,000 attendees and this year will probably be bigger!
