Less Is Always More

We all know that Facebook is full of buzzfeed articles now, some are awesome and some make me wonder who would ever post something so weird. I saw this post yesterday and thought that it proves a point in our industry so of course we are going to talk about it. Have you ever worked with a promotional model that has amazing pictures then shows up to the event looking like she rolled out of bed? That is what this article reminds me of and this is why we ask for candid pictures of models. The client and the modeling agency want to know what you really look like! We want to see what you will look like at your promotion or trade show, not what a make up artist made you look like for a photoshoot. Make up artists are wonderful at what they do!
