IRCE 2012 - Chicago!

IRCE (Internet Retailer Conference & Exposition) will be taking place in Chicago June 5-8 at McCormick Place. This will be the 8th year for this convention and is also the world's biggest e-commerce event. Over 8,000 executives will attend this conference. The goal is to educate everyone on the newest practices and tools. Some of the topics that will be discussed are social media, mobile commerce, e-marketing, web merchandising, improving back-end operations, boosting conversions and profitability, and so much more. NeoCon - Chicago!

NeoCon will be taking place June 11-13 at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. NeoCon is North America's largest design expo that displays thousands of innovative products and resources for corporate, hospitality, healthcare, retail, government, institutional and residential interiors. These displays come from over 700 showrooms and exhibitors with over 40,000 show attendees, 120 seminars and great key note speakers. Wrigleyville Bar Crawl - Today!

The team at Pink Avenue Models received a last minute call from a new client yesterday for a beer sampling at numerous bars in Wrigleyville today. Our client requested 2 girls to hand out 16oz cans to baseball fans all morning. The models have been working since 9:30 am and will finish right after the game starts. This is a big weekend for baseball in Chicago, the Cubs are playing the White Sox so it's an extra busy/crazy weekend. Thanks to Kristal and Deanna for working today! Team Pink Avenue

Clear Event - Rhode Island!

The team at Pink Avenue Models has staffed events all over the country in major cities and tiny cites as well. We are excited to announce that we have an event taking place in Rhode Island tomorrow, it's our first one! We have a team of promotional models that will be promoting the new hair care line Clear. Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy is a premium beauty brand that creates the foundation for strong and beautiful hair. This line contains 6 shampoos and 5 different conditioners to meet everyone's needs. They will hand out product information and educate CVS employees on the new line. These promotional models have been trained on the product and we are excited for them to work their event tomorrow. ITW After Party @ Hyatt Regency Hotel - Chicago

ITW has been taking over Chicago all week. The team at Pink Avenue Models staffed models for the trade show and some of the after parties. Last night one of our clients had an after party at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and requested 5 models to interact with the crowd. Here is a picture from last night, girls you looked amazing! Easy, Flirty Summer Hairstyles

It's 80 degrees in Chicago right now and will be all week so obviously we are all thinking about Summer. Models all know that trying to style their hair in the Summer is not the easiest, especially in a humid city like Chicago. Here are a couple hairstyles that look awesome, are easy to do, and last all day. These styles are also appropriate for any type of event that you are booked for, trade shows, street teams or any other type of promotion.

1. Braids. You can wear 1 big side braid, add little braids to a messy bun, or turn a braid into a side bun. Its very flirty, sexy and easy.
2. Sleek and straight. Make sure you use a smoothing balm to keep the frizz away.
3. Bangs. Let them be messy and do their thing. Summer is suppose to be fun and care free.
4. Half back. This is an easy way to have your hair down with it out of your face.
5. Up, with a headband. This is a quick hairstyle that can look fancy if you add a skinny headband.
6. High ponytail. Curl it, shake it out and spray it.
