The team at Pink Avenue Models receives hundreds of model submissions every week. Every submission is reviewed and the selected ones are added to our database, unfortunatly we can not accept everyone. So what are we looking for when we review submissions?

We are looking for picture quality, the pictures do not have to be professional but they do have to be appropriate. We need images of just you, preferably close up, smiling and with clothes on. When submitting images we ask for a head shot, body shot, your favorite picture and a candid/unprofessional picture. Just think, these pictures are going to be sent to clients and they should reflect what you look like.

We also look at resumes. We want to hire models that have experience and are interested in working. Our clients come to us because they are looking for beautiful, outgoing, professional, reliable models that will represent their brand in a positive and effective way. It's not just about looks, clients want smart girls that can learn product knowledge and increase sales. A background in Marketing is very common with promotional models.

We also make sure that the submission form is filled out completely. We want your real name, location, accurate measurements and stats. Everything that is requested on the form is necessary for us to submit your information to clients.

The way this works with our agency is we review your submission, if you are added to the database we will contact you when we have an event in your area. If you are available for the event we add you to the look book and send it to our client, sometimes there are 20 people on it but we have had up to 150 on a look book before. The client reviews the look book and makes their selections, they always pick the models they want to work with. If you are selected we will contact you, if you wern't you won't get a response from us.

This industry is very competitive and you won't be booked for every promotion that you are available for. Every client has a different image of who they want representing their brand.
