Flashback Friday! Lyft Promotion In Los Angeles!

Pink Avenue Models teamed up with Lyft a while back for their launch in LA and we were so excited to be part of it. We didn't know too much about Lyft at the time but now there isn't a day that goes by that I don't see their pink mustaches on cars. This was a great event in sunny Los Angeles! We hired a team of 8 promotional models to promote the car service outside of a major street fest. Thanks to all of the models that worked and helped get the word out there. Must Have Magazine For All Promotional Models

The team at Pink Avenue Models does a lot of research in this industry. We try and know about all of the big trade shows and events going on all over the country. We also try and know about fashion, beauty, and shopping on a budget. We feel like all of this can be beneficial to our promotional models. Whenever we find something exciting we have to share it immediately. I have read Women's Health in the past but I couldn't put down this magazine today. Flashback Friday! Maxim Models @ Cuervo Volleyball Event!

This was one of my favorite events to attend. It was warm, super busy, and there was a ton going on. We teamed up with a marketing company and sent some of our best promotional models to promote Maxim at the Jose Cuervo Volleyball tournament in Chicago. The girls rocked their bikinis, threw on a Maxim tank top and grabbed the attention of all the attendees. This is an event I hope to do again this Summer. Team Pink Avenue

Sweets & Snacks Expo 2014 - Chicago

Yesterday I mentioned that we were staffing the NRA Show in Chicago. As most of our promotional models know NRA and the Sweet & Snacks Expo share a day so it is almost impossible to work both. Luckily some clients only book 3 days of the NRA and then the models can work both trade shows. Why is the Sweet & Snacks Expo so amazing? There will be over 15,000 attendees from over 90 countries, and over 620 exhibitors. This means over 3 acres of candy and snacks! This event will take place at McCormick Place May 20 - 22. NRA Show 2014 - Chicago

Guess what is coming back next month, one of my favorite trade shows of the year. NRA! The NRA will be taking place at McCormick Place May 17 -19. There will be over 2000 booths, and more than 60,000 people taking over Chicago. This is a great opportunity for suppliers and buyers to network. They say it's the 4 most important days in this industry. This trade show is full of food, anything you could ever crave is here. Guess what has arrived in Chicago, well kind of... SPRING! This past Winter was the worst Winter in Chicago history so warmer weather is making us so excited, even if it is just 40 degrees. I feel like everything comes alive in the Spring, we get more motivated, clothes get brighter, there is more to do, and we actually get to see grass and flowers! Overworked Promotional Models? Only In The US!

In the promotional modeling industry it is common to be overworked, and the thing is we do it to ourselves. Promotional models book themselves for a 10 day auto show, or work a trade show for 8 hours and then a liquor promotion or 2 at night, sometimes these models work 3 weeks in a row without a day off. It's not a bad thing, good work ethic is a great thing but this can be exhausting. We all need days off so we can do personal things, grocery shopping, laundry, lunch with friends, and we all need a quiet or crazy vacation sometimes. Try and have a day off every week just so you don't get burned out, we need you at your best when you're working your events and promotions.
