The team at Pink Avenue Models loves being busy, October was definitely a busy month for us. We just wrapped up NACS in Chicago, the week before we had NBAA in Las Vegas, we had a street team event with Coach, and numerous other events. Perfect Updo In 25 Seconds!

This made my day! I have extremely long hair and there are days that I don't have time to do it, or in Chicago there are humid days where nothing works. I give promotional models permission to wear their hair like this at a trade show, event, promotion or even at a street team event! Want To Be Famous? It Won't Be Easy.

I admit it, I still have a yahoo account and I love it! Today I saw an entertaining article and of course I'm going to share it. Have you ever been at a trade show, event, promotion, or even a street team and one of the promotional models tells you that she is a model/actress? You probably laugh a little bit inside because she is doing the same thing you are and you would never say that because you probably have a marketing degree and understand that this is a temporary job. Anyways, there are those girls out there that tell everyone they are a model and try to brag about it, we call them divas. Cute. Classy. Easy. Adorable. It's The Fishtail Braid!

I absolutely love wearing a braid in my hair. It takes a couple minutes but really adds to an outfit and makes it look like you spent time getting ready. I recommend this look for any promotional models that are working a street team or an event that requires jeans and a t shirt. This can be worn at a trade show or special event but you would have to dress it up. Best Beauty Products For Promotional Models

I LOVE any "Best" list, especially when it's talking about beauty products. I can not even explain how expensive it is to be a woman. We have hair, make up, skin, to worry about. Not to mention they are always coming out with new products that we want to try and most of the time we don't even like it because it's not what we are used to. Update Your Pictures & Resumes For 2013!

December and January are usually the slowest months out of the year in this industry. Trade shows slow down, street team promotions only exist in warm places, there are special holiday events and non stop liquor promotions but it's a slow time for most of us. We want you to use this time to catch up on rest, traveling, booking events for 2013, but most of all for updating your pictures and resume. We submit pictures to every client and we like to use recent ones, clients don't want to know what you looked like 3 years ago. Please enjoy your time off but if you take the time to have a few photo shoots please send us your new pictures so we can update your profile. We are looking forward to a busy 2013!

Successful Weekend In Chicago!

The team at Pink Avenue Models would like to take the time to thank all of the models that worked over the weekend and early this week. We had a very busy weekend and it wouldn't have been successful without our amazing promotional models. Thanks to all of the models that worked the NRA, the NRA after party at the Dana Hotel, the Eastbay promotion and the Dior Addict street team event. Scott Stapp Promotion - Success!

The team at Pink Avenue Models staffed a last minute event over the weekend. Our client requested a team of promotional models to work a street team promoting the new book by Scott Stapp, the lead singer from the band Creed. The girls were hired to work outside of the Chicago Theater during the Creed concerts last weekend. They were handing out bookmarks to promote the new book. It's Our Anniversary!

It's our anniversary today and we are so excited and thankful, definitely looking forward to many more years! We want to thank all of our promotional models that have worked with us through out the years. We couldn't do this without you and appreciate all of the hard work that all of you have done. We enjoy what we do and are always looking forward to the next trade show, street team, special event or anything else that comes our way. New Make Up Tips For 2012!

It's a new year, we all made resolutions and most of them probably have to do with looking and feeling better. Promotional models wear different looks depending if they are working a trade show, street team, special event, photo shoot or any other type of promotion. Here are a few make up tips to try this year, all very simple any model should be able to do it alone.

1. Red lips. If you wear a lot of color on your lips keep the rest of your face natural.


2. Pink cheeks. Very natural looking and easy to do.


3. Bronze/metallic eye shadow. Sexy and less dramatic then the smokey eye.


4. Glossy lips. This will always be in, nothing better then shiny lips.


5. Bronzer. Go 1 shade darker for a natural sun kissed look.


6. Fake eyelashes. These can be easy to apply but leave an amazing effect.


7. Single line. They recommend just lining the top lid with eyeliner, again very simple and natural.

All promotions require a different look but you can never go wrong with the natural look, people love natural beauty. Mascara, and lip gloss are a models best friend.

Pink Avenue Models teamed up with a new client over the weekend for street team events across the country. The selected promotional models handed out green wristbands to promote Globworld.com in Orlando, New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago at various events. Halloween Weekend Events!

The team at Pink Avenue Models is teaming up with a last minute client and staffing events in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago this weekend! The street team will take place at parades and festivals and the goal is to pass out wristbands to attendees. The teams will consist of 4-5 promotional models and the events will be between 3-4 hours long. We're excited to be part of this event and can't wait to post pictures.
